Today I am talking with Andrea Layne of The Creative Spring. Andrea spent 11 years working in corporate as a business consultant and IT Project Manager for some of the top companies in the United States. After realizing that she wasn’t able to live the life she wanted, she went out on her own and decided to pursue project management on a smaller, more creative scale as a floral wedding designer. She built and ran a successful floral wedding design company over six years. Even though she saw tremendous success in her business, she still wasn’t able to live life on her terms, which led her to starting The Creative Spring, where she helps creative entrepreneurs with systems and software, so they have a better business foundation. Tune in to hear more about how Andrea uses systems to live the life she wants to lead and teaches other entrepreneurs how to do the same.

ANDREA’S ADVICE FOR ENTREPRENEURS:

“What if it could be simple? What is the simplest path? It can be really easy to complicate things and make them more than what they really are. It muddies the waters, especially in service delivery. Whenever I start to feel like it’s getting to complicated, I go back and think of what the simple path would be.”
