Friends, today I am excited to introduce you to Jax Ball. She is the epitome of a multi-passionate entrepreneur. Jax is a blogger at her blog, Jax & Crew, where she writes about travel, beauty, fashion, and lifestyle. In addition to doing graphic design and marketing, she and her husband also run several business together, and they recently started an import business where she imports furniture and home decor from Bali and Southeast Asia. Jax does a lot of things, and I think you’ll love this interview because it shines a light on the fact that you can turn the ideas and opportunities you discover into profits. My interview with Jax will inspire and encourage you to believe you can run more than one profitable business that you are passionate about.

IN THIS EPISODE YOU’LL HEAR:

  • How Jax got found her passion for entrepreneurship at a young age.

  • How she views everything she does as an opportunity to increase her profits.

  • Why she holds on to a more “traditional” side-hustle while she creates multiple additional revenue streams.

  • How she has learned to always pursue what she’s passionate about, even when that means letting go of a business for a season, or permanently.

  • How she’s able to make the decision to “sunset” businesses when she needs to take a step back for her family or herself.

  • How seeing trends on social media and from bloggers led her to start an import business from Bali, importing furniture and home decor.

  • How she found ways to give back during her time in Bali while building her import business.

  • How her mindset allows her to maintain a balance in life, family, and business.

JAX’S ADVICE FOR ENTREPRENEURS:

You don’t have to stay in one lane. You can diversify your business portfolio and try new things and sometime you’ll love it and sometimes you won’t, and you can move on to the next. Be open to have multiple revenue flows at the same time. Be open to finding opportunity in things you genuinely enjoy and be okay to change your focus as you grow as an individual and mature in business.
